During the creation of our front cover of a magazine we encountered some problems deciding on the layout and we created quite a few different covers. We decided to show the covers to our target audience of 16-30 year old girls and let them decide on the best front cover. We showed it to 20 different people.

1) 25% chose number one as their favourite for the magazine front cover.
2)30% chose number two as their favourite
2)30% chose number two as their favourite
3)45% chose number three as their favourite.
We decided to stick with number three as that was the most popular choice. We still feel that we won't lose out on the other people who preferred the first two magazines as they are all kept in the same style just slightly different so they will still be attracted to number three.
