These were both the girl and boy results of the questionnaire that we gave out for market research. Where our film is primarily aimed at girls, we are focusing more on their results. From the results, this helps us to understand what our target audience would like to see in our teaser trailer and enables us to meet expectations.

From the above results, it shows that girls like the romantic comedy genre the most comapred to the other types of genre such as Horror or Action, whereas boys prefer a film that is more comedy. Both girls and boys results show that they prefer a film that keeps them guessing and that they like happy endings over sad endings. We can corperate this into our teaser trailer by using short snappy clips to leave them guessing and not give to much away. Both the girls and boys results again show that they dont feel there has to be big named stars in a film for them to watch it. This helps us when creating our teaser trailer as we are going to use actors that we know as we don't know any big named stars plus this is a low budget film!!!! On the final question that we asked in our questionnaire, the highest scores answers for both the girls and boys was that in a teaser trailer they expect the genre to be made clear and that they get a gist of the story line. All these results are useful when bringing our final teaser trailer together as we can meet the expectations of our target audience and therefore this is a guideline for us.
