Disney mostly do animated film for younger audiences, but we would like to take elements from films like this to keep ours realistic but magical still.
The music is orchestral and very grand, and entering through the disney castle to clos ein on a fairy tale book, indicated to the audience that it isn't going to be true. We would like ours to have a more realistic feel so that children are inspired by what they see.
The small animals and instant singing lift the mood of the film instantly, and lets the audience know they are going to be watching a very light-hearted film!!
