My Survey :)

we have decided to create the openeing sequence of a film for children - specifically little girls. I think that children are growing up too fast in todays society, and this can be proved by a question from my survey:

What would you prefer to play with?
Dollies
Teddies
Computer

so far I have only been given back one survey, and that respondant ticked the Computer. She is aged between 5-10 which is our target audience, and I thought it not too healthy that she enjoys the computer more then toys at her age.
Howver the last question on my survey is:

Would you be Happy, Shocked, Sad if your toys came to life?

On this question she ticked Happy which I think means that secretly, the respondant wishes to be the a little girl, however society is encouraging children to mature, children are being exposed to fashion very early,technology,and issues that they shouldnt be concerned with until they are older e.g 'size 0 issue' my neighbour who is 7 has recently been using the wii fit, because she is upset about her weight.
I think we should try to make our film very appealing to little girls (target audience)we should make it very magical, and fun to try to encourage children to BE children :) Jessica
