I have been researching barbie dolls on how they look to find out what kind of clothes they wear and how they are represented, some pictures were too X-rated to show!
Barbie is mostly represented as prim and perfect long flowing blonde hair that is perfectly styled, that every girl envies and wants. Her hair always has and always will match her outfits for example if Barbie is a goth then her hair would be long, jet black and dead straight. But Barbie has always be known for her platinum blonde hair parted on the right hand side.

Regardless of the theme of Barbie they release, her outfits are always up to date and stylish. Even if Barbie were to do some grocery shopping her outfits would always match as you can see in the pictures above. Barbie is very over the top with her outfits which you could say matches Barbie's persona.
Her makeup is immaculate and perfect and very girly colours. Barbies before the 2000's had the blue eyeshadow accompanied by the shocking pink lipstick and baby doll pink cheek blush. Barbies nowadays have very up-to-date make up which is very vamp and sexy with smokey eyes, of course the original make up of Barbie's is still around but just more vamped and updated with black eyeliner and the spider eyelashes.
